Think it — Make it

I love waking up with an idea, jumping into CAD, flipping it onto the FDM or SLA 3D printer, spending too much money on components, and ending up with something that may or may not work! Maybe plastic isn't the answer. Laser cutting and engraving really cranks out the concepts in a jiffy.

It's a great time to be alive as a maker—access to affordable tools and endless information inspires and fuels my creative engine. 3D printing is one of the fundamental technologies that enables me to realize the ideas bouncing around in my head. Iteration is fast-ish and easy and the quality of the printing means the printed part can be the final part. The laser cutter makes fast and precise fabrication of sheet materials a breeze. Put the two together and it's magic.
