Electronic Music Mayhem

Electronic music, particularly Eurorack modular synthesis, is my latest down-the-rabbit-hole adventure. There’s something exhilarating about sculpting sound from scratch, twisting knobs, and discovering unexpected sonic landscapes.

I took piano in high school, where I mastered the art of avoiding practice. I know three chords on the guitar, which is just enough to strum through a campfire song. But modular synthesis? The sheer unpredictability is addicting, and every patch is an experiment in controlled mayhem.

I'd like to think I'm getting better, though my definition of 'better' might be questionable. For now, I’m happy with creating sounds I can listen to for more than five minutes without questioning my life choices.

Me

I've always been drawn to the magic of immersive experiences, likely sparked by my countless trips to Disneyland as both a kid and an adult. There's something captivating about crafting sights, sounds, and even smells that transport us beyond our everyday surroundings into worlds of our own design.

Sound, in particular, has always fascinated me. Its ability to evoke emotion and shape perception plays a critical role in creating these experiences. This curiosity has led me on an ongoing exploration of sound synthesis and the art of both analog and digital sound creation—a journey that continues to surprise and inspire me.
